About Us
About Me
I've always been the quiet, awkward kid in the room. Growing up, I didn't really fit in anywhere—not at school, not at family dinners, definitely not with the cool crowd. While everyone else was hanging out, I was usually tucked away in a corner, tearing apart broken electronics, lost in my own head, and obsessing over junk nobody else cared about. People called me weird. Some still do. Honestly? I've learned to just own it.
The Accident
Back in 2019, I was guting an old circuit board like I usually did, and noticed a stray bead of solder stuck to the back. For no real reason, I grabbed an old iron and touched it. The metal melted instantly. A single drop slid down, pulling out into this long, jagged spike—like liquid silver. It moved like something alive before freezing into this sharp, chaotic, beautiful mess. Right then, something clicked. It felt like that drop of metal was speaking a language I'd been trying to find my whole life. It was sharp. Aggressive. Raw as hell
Down the Rabbit Hole
After that, I was completely hooked. I spent nights bingeing tutorials, digging through sketchy old forums, and flipping through chemistry books. I hacked my own iron tips and played around with custom flux recipes I found online. I even dragged my experiments to local labs just to make sure I wasn't low-key poisoning myself. Huge shoutout to Orion, who helped me figure out how to mix different metals into the tin without ruining the texture. Without his formulas, half of my wildest ideas would've ended up as scrap. My bedroom smelled constantly like burnt rosin. Honestly, a lot of stuff got scorched along the way.
Building the Shop
I started selling at local underground markets and pop-ups. Half the people walking by thought my pieces were totally unhinged, but the other half really got it. Every time I sold a piece, I't take the cash straight back to the hardware store for more gear. In 2022, I finally set up a tiny studio—a spot where other local weirdos and makers could hang out, trade ideas, and build cool shit together. Now, in 2025, thanks to my crew, I'm launching this site to put my work out into the wider world and hopefully pay my rent doing what I love.
What Is Solder Art?
Let's be real: this isn't delicate, boutique jewelry you wear to Sunday brunch. This is molten metal, charred scars, and raw industrial rebellion.
No mass-produced copies.
No polished lies.
No blending into the crowd.
I pull art out of chaos and forge heavy pieces from scrap. People say the spikes look like they hurt. They're right. Life hurts, failure hurts, and love leaves a mark. But I'd rather lean into that sharp edge—it reminds me I'm alive. I'm completely done with fake, filtered perfection. Every piece I craft is a middle finger to cookie-cutter aesthetics. No fake shine—just raw, unapologetic identity. If you're looking for something cute and neat, you're in the wrong shop. But if you're here for something real, heavy, unbound, and totally out of line...
